Twelve Mile Designs started in Brisbane in 2019, when I began hand-making earrings for myself and my family.
I wanted earrings that were comfortable to wear, especially for sensitive ears, so I started making simple, lightweight designs using pure titanium wire. It wasn’t long before friends and family starting asking if they could buy them too. From there, word spread and what started as a hobby slowly grew into a business.
Our customers were soon asking for more styles and more sophisticated designs than I could make at home. We moved production to specialist facilities with the equipment and expertise needed to bring those designs to life. We also began importing from top European manufacturers to further expand our range.
Every pair we sell is pure titanium. We don’t use titanium alloys or plating. We independently test our titanium for purity, so that we can be confident in the materials we use and the products we sell.
